To be honest, I lost the time, and then I realized that my old quasilaur.net site had been hacked (again) while I wasn’t watching, and then I realized after I fixed it, shortly thereafter, it was showing a database error, and none of my passwords worked to get me into FTP or the database.  Truly a bummer.

The best option was to move quasilaur.net to my own hosting provider, after many years of squatting on another’s server. After all, I can afford it, what with my tech job and all. The plan is that I update this thing more often, and we will see how that goes. I’m still on the fence about transferring my old quasilaur.net files to this incarnation, and I’m also not sure what fancy plug-ins I want to include. Then there’s the “monetizing” fun of Amazon – which I think I may save for one of my other blog spaces.
